Beauty Ocean Clinic Secures Patent for “Skin Botox Drug Injection Component”
[Edaily, Reporter Lee Yoon-jung] Beauty Ocean Clinic, located in Hanam, Gyeonggi Province, announced on the 8th that its medical director, Jeong Hyeon Kim, has secured a patent titled “Drug Injection Component for Pain-Reducing Skin Botox.”
The patent covers technology for a drug injection component used in skin Botox procedures, designed to reduce pain that may occur during treatment.
Kim developed the technology based on his clinical experience and worked with Diaocean Inc., a management services organization (MSO) specializing in support for medical institutions, to complete the patent registration process.
Building on the patent registration, Beauty Ocean Clinic and Diaocean plan to continue research and development of related technologies for use in clinical settings.
Meanwhile, Beauty Ocean Clinic recently completed the registration of the “Beauty Ocean” trademark in Australia. Together with Diaocean, the clinic is preparing to expand into overseas healthcare markets in the Asia-Pacific region, including Australia.
